Ugh. I've been having that same conversation with myself (and my houseful of stuff that needs to be packed) every day for a month now. Nothing like packing to make you feel beaten down before you even do anything.

lol, me too! I finally made myself do my ironing--I had 30 shirts. It's a big deal for Bill for his work.

I think one of the reasons I blog a lot is that I'm not well and I don't have to walk around when I do it.

I'll keep telling myself that.

LOL... except for me, it would be the other way around: trying to clean the house while the computer softly, sweetly calls my name. :)

True avoidance means you can't even hear the boxes (except the ones full of See's chocolates!)

Shoot...packing was the easy part for me....UNPACKING is what it still kicking my rear over a year later.........

Maybe I should just throw away the left over boxes...I can't really NEED anything in them...right?

With my luck I would throw out the passports and deed to the house...

I wanted to avoid packing so much that I came into work! My husband is packing away while I sit here and giggle behind his back. :) It is only fair though, because the last 4 times we have moved, I did it all, so he can have a turn for once. :)

Oh, can I relate! I've been doing just about anything to avoid packing, and even justifying how much time regular things like taking kids to school and returning phone messages takes up to avoid packing.

At least you know when you'll be unpacking.... my stuff will be packed for 2-6 months!!!! (We are renovating our house and the roof is coming off in two weeks!!!)

LOL!! We found out we're moving on Thursday (drove up to MT) and came back Friday, packed all day- funeral Saturday, church Sunday and packed again. We're 80% packed-- but I'm a neurotic fool so says my husband. Our house goes on the market tomorrow. YIKES! Good luck to you!!
