Welcome Gootchie!

We would just like to extend a welcome to our newest Permablogger, Gootchie. She's a new mom, a good friend of mine, as well as a good friend of The Wiz, and we love her to death. We are thrilled to have her join our team, and we hope to be hearing lots of her amazing thoughts on motherhood. I will let her do her own introductionary post, or whatever she wants to do. Hooray for new moms, and new bloggers!

Thanks Heather! There will be a blog shortly. My first week or so of each month is craziness between working from home & being a new mom.

But even more so, I realized this past weekend that I should read the 5th Harry Potter book again since the new one comes out on Saturday. Yes, I like the many other millions of people out there, like Harry Potter even though I'm not a kid anymore.

My personal theory is that the Half-Blood Prince is Seamus Finnigan. I too am re-reading the books, and he says that he's half-and-half (me dad's a muggle). It doesn't come up again, AND..it's in the movie, which means it's important. That's just my theory, and yes, my husband has already told my children that they need to leave me alone that day, that I will be locked in my room reading all day long. What a great guy.

I'm totally geared up for Harry Potter, too. I've got my book reserved and everything. Woo-hoo--can't wait!

Since it's so hard waiting (I have to wait until Monday; Russell gets the book first since he has to *work*!)... check this out.

And sorry, Wiz, Seamus isn't the half-blood prince unless he fits this description, as posted on JKR's site:

(He) looked rather like an old lion. There were streaks of grey in his mane of tawny hair and his bushy eyebrows; he had keen yellowish eyes behind a pair of wire-rimmed spectacles and a certain rangy, loping grace even though he walked with a slight limp.

Can't wait...

Melissa -
We don't know that that's the description of the HBP, we just know it's of somebody....Going to a party tonight to get the book at midnight - totally psyched!

Any one finished with the book yet? Finished it yesterday & LOVED it. Much better than the last one in my opinion. There wasn't so much rambling.

Okay, so I was wrong. I thought the mugglenet description was of the HBP.

The book was terrific. Much much better than the last two.

Russell has some interesting thoughts over on his blog (http://inmediasres.blogspot.com) about the book, if you're interested.
